I have been using a looper pedal up to now and this is great but I have to fit my pickup on every time I want to record something and re-record tunes just to change the tempo. DOES IREAL PRO WORK ON BOTH IPHONE AND IPAD PCBut the German D in its Ivory Concert Grand (again the most similar to the pc version) is pretty good too.ĭigital Pianos - Electronic Pianos - Synths &a. Personally I prefer American in its American Vintage variation on ipad (the most similar to the one on pc). What is better between German D and American D is the same as on a PC, it's a matter of taste. Also, the stock velocity curve should be changed from "normal" to "light", regardless of your keyboard. And the buffer should be lowered to 64, which means no latency, contrary to Ravenscroft. But Ivory is identical to the PC version, other that the fact that the samples are shorter but still absolutely enough for my taste (I did a test holding a note on PC lasts around 20 seconds on ipad 10 seconds, which is still plenty as far as I am concerned). Mind you, the stock piano in Module (Natural grand) is pretty average. ![]() And also can lack volume (depending on what you are using to listen to.)įor me the inapp Ivory in Korg Module are by far the best. It also has some technical issues, like latency, you cannot go below a 256 buffer size.(which tolerable but not great). Ravenscroft is better but has an unusual sound if you are used to Steinways or Yamahas. I would rank igrand and sampletank last, they are only better than garageband, which is a very low entry point on ipad. I have bought, in chronological order, CMP grandpiano (with inapp), Igrand (with inapp), sampletank, korg module (with inapp German D and American D) and Ravenscroft. I now use ipad for virtual pianos more than I use Windows or Mac. ![]()
